Silic8 Plasterer’s Gritty Acrylic Primer

Lime Green Plasterer’s Gritty Acrylic Primer gives improved bond, key and suction control over walls and boards before plastering or rendering. It is ready to use so it can simply be applied by brush or roller straight from the tub.

This primer is hydrophobic, so it reduces liquid movement in the wall for reduced staining and leaching caused by background contamination such as tar in chimneys. It isn’t suitable for areas with rising damp or a hydrostatic head of water or very heavy contamination – consider tanking membranes or other approaches.  If you need breathable primers,  Silic8 range of mineral primers.
