Sometimes you need a key coat or bonding coat to stick to really difficult backgrounds - like waterproof concrete, ceramic tiles, tanking slurries or other dense surfaces that plaster or lime render won't normally stick to.

Grippa is the brush or trowel-on product for the job. It isn't very breathable or made with lime, but it acts as a bridging coat before using Duro or Forte.
